An Invitation to Your Ecstasy…
Life is beautiful!
…So much vibrancy in a single moment…that whiff of a distant flower in a soft breeze, the splash of freshly cut grapefruit, vibrant white clouds against a deep blue sky, the smell of incoming rain, smooth sheets at the end of a long day.
We don’t have to miss it. Some days though, it’s so hard to see.
“Stop and smell the roses? Have you seen my To Do list? If I stop now, I’ll fall asleep where I’m standing!”
Negativity creeps in like a virus, borne on the currents of criticism and complaints, the hype of new drama, the sinister hiss of self doubt. Most of us get swept up talking about the wounds of ours and other people’s lives. Isn’t it strange how hard it is to talk about a good day? How happy we are feeling? How much joy we let in? We almost feel guilty for saying – and feeling – such things.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to shout out your newfound sense of hope on a downtown street corner. Simply start letting your ecstasy in. Take a deep breath…feel it coursing through your body like a warm, stray sunbeam. You don’t even have to stop working to breathe. Just notice for a split second how good it feels. You can do that all day! Whenever you remember, more and more often, let that sense of ecstasy in.
And on days when it’s a little tougher, turn on your favorite music, surround yourself with your favorite scents. Take a walk. Promise yourself a hot bath and a movie later, or a really good read. Plan your next vacation. Schedule a massage.
…And those are the things that take planning. Remember that blue sky? Those soft sheets? That last cat-like stretch you snuck in the warmth of that sunny window? Take a moment and relish them again. Let those ecstatic moments fill your life, one breath at a time.
My work is dedicated to helping you feel that deep well of happiness that is the core of you, and allowing it to fill your life with passion, purpose, clarity and ecstasy. If you’re interested in exploring further, please let me know.
It may take some practice at first. And I know you can do it. I see it all the time.
I wish you an ecstatic life,
Ephraim
